Mathematics

Students may choose from the following options depending on their sending school's requirements:

Algebra 2:

All the concepts from Algebra 1 are reviewed and further developed.  More advanced topics including logarithms, probability, and conic sections are studied.  Functions and their relationships to the real world are emphasized.

Trig/Intro to Calc:

This course includes a semester of trigonometry and such topics as series and sequence, exponents and logarithms, polynomial and rational functions, behavior of functions, and probability.

Calculus and advanced math topics:

This course will feature a semester of calculus.  Functions, limits, derivatives, integrals, and tools such as analytic geometry needed to support such studies will be covered.  In addition the course will include a wide variety of problem solving activities and a review of many algebra 2 and pre-calculus topics.
